1. Begging Hands (Front- Two-Hand Grab to Wrists)
1. An opponent at 12:00 directly grabs your wrists with both hands; their left hand to your right wrist, right hand to your left wrist.
2. Step back with your left foot to 6:00 into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you circle your hands from the inside out (up, over, and on top) of your opponent's wrists, simulating the begging hands.
3. Immediately slide your right foot back into a transitional right cat stance. Execute a right front kick to your opponent's groin.
4. Land in a right neutral bow facing 12:00. Execute a left front kick to your opponent's chin or chest. Note: This should bring your opponent's body up.
5. Land in a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you utilize back-up mass and execute twin torquing heel palm strikes under your opponent's ribcage.
6. Step your right foot to 10:30 into a right neutral bow; your right knee steps through your opponent's right knee as you simultaneously have both of your hands grab your opponent's flesh (on the chest) and squeeze.
7. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a left rear crossover while maintaining the grab. Step your right foot out to 1:30 to buckle out your opponent's left leg. Simultaneous with the buckle, execute a right inward heel palm strike to your opponent's face. (Your left is maintaining the grab.)
8. Step with your right foot to 7:30 into a right front crossover sweep to your opponent's right foot. Simultaneous with the sweep, execute a left inward heel palm strike to your opponent's face while your right hand checks your opponent's right shoulder.
9. Pivot counterclockwise and execute a left rear kick to any opening.
10. Land in a left front crossover and cross out to 4:30.
 

2. Thrusting Wedge (Front- Two-Hand High Push)

1. An opponent at 12:00 pushes you high with both hands.
2. Step your right foot to 12:00 into a right neutral bow as you thrust the outer portion of both of your forearms to create a wedge against your opponent's arms.
3. Pivot into a right forward bow as you have your left hand grab your opponent's right shoulder and push down to cancel out their zones as your right hand executes a frictional pull down your opponent's left arm.
4. Pivot back into a right neutral bow as you execute a right upward elbow to your opponent's chin.
5. Pivot back into a right forward bow as you execute a right outward overhead elbow to your opponent's chest and flow through to a right overhead claw to your opponent's face.
6. Continue the motion and rake your right hand down through your opponent's face, down the body, and through your opponent's groin. Reverse the motion and execute a right reverse hand sword to your opponent's groin.
7. Execute a right back fist to your opponent's left knee.
8. Step your left foot to 12:00 into a left neutral bow as your right hand grabs your opponent's left knee. As you step, execute a left heel palm strike to your opponent's face.
9. Step your right to 10:30 into a right rear crossover and step your left foot out to 10:30 into a left reverse bow to buckle out your opponent's right knee while continuing to thrust your left hand against your opponent's jaw and pulling on your opponent's left leg.
10. With your opponent on the ground, step your left foot to 1:30 gauging your distance, as you drop your right knee into your opponent's groin.
11. Have both of your hands hook your opponent's knees out (right to left knee, left to right knee) as your opponent's will normally close after a knee strike.
12. Rise up on your right foot and execute a left stomp to your opponent's groin.
13. Execute a left crossover stomp to your opponent's left ankle and continue to cross out to 6:00.
 

3. Flashing Wings (Front- Right Step-Through Punch)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right step-through punch.
2. Step towards 12:00 with your left foot in a left neutral bow as you execute a left inward block.
3. Shift into a forward bow as you execute a right inward elbow strike to your opponent's ribs.
4. Shift back into the left neutral bow as you execute a right outward elbow strike to your opponent's ribs.
5. Execute a right outward raking hand spear to your opponent's eyes. Immediately follow that with a right inward raking hand spear. This left hand will grab your opponent's right arm and frictionally pull them down.
6. Pivot back into the left forward bow as your left hand checks and pins your opponent's right arm and your arm executes a right inward hand sword on an upward diagonal plane to your opponent's chin.
7. Execute a left front crossover sweep to your opponent's right leg as your right hand circles counterclockwise to execute a right inward claw to your opponent's face.
8. Pivot clockwise and execute a right spinning stiff-legged sweep to the back of your opponent's right leg as you simultaneously execute a right heel palm strike to your opponent's chin.
9. As you opponent is falling, push your opponent's chin counterclockwise as your left hand turns your opponent's am and body counterclockwise. As his body rotates and his back arches, execute a right knee kick to your opponent's spine.
10. From point of contact of your right knee kick, execute a right knife-edge kick to the back of your opponent's left knee.
11. From the point of contact, land in a right front crossover to 8:30 as you have your right hand claw across your opponent's face from left to right on your way out. Cross out.
 
 

4. Hugging Pendulum (Front- Right Drag-Up Side Kick)
1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a shuffle right side kick (drag step, essentially).
2. From a right neutral bow facing 12:00 push drag back to 7:30 staying in your right neutral bow as you execute a right downward block to the back of your opponent's leg. (They will then land stretched out with their back to you.)
3. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a front crossover as you execute a right inward middle knuckle rake to your opponent's ribs and a left heel palm strike to your opponent's right kidney. Note: This heel palm strike is added to keep them from rotating towards you. It maintains the angle of cancellation on their width zones.
4. Execute a right knife-edge to your opponent's left inner knee to buckle it and cause them to fall.
5. As you land in a right neutral bow facing 1:30, execute a right outward back fist to your opponent's right jaw.
6. Shuffle in as you reverse the motion and execute a right inward hooking heel palm strike to your opponent's face followed by a right hooking punch to the same target.
7. While continuing this circular motion, execute a right round kick to your opponent's sternum.
8. Land towards 10:30 and immediately pivot counterclockwise and execute a left spinning thrusting knife-edge kick to your opponent's neck.
9. Land in a left front crossover and cross out to 6:00.
 

5. Repeated Devastation (Full Nelson)

1. An opponent at 6:00 grabs you in a full nelson.
2. Step your right foot to 3:00 into a narrow horse stance as you strike over and back of your head with both of your hands, putting fingers in your opponent's face and loosening the grip.
3. Utilize gravitational marriage and drop into a horse stance as you execute two outward overhead elbows to your opponent's biceps. Immediately thrust both fists towards the ground as you straighten your body. Note: This should break their grip and the thrust should pin your opponent's arms against your body.
4. Step with your left foot to 12:00 and pivot into a right neutral bow facing 6:00. As you pivot, pin your opponent's left arm against your body and execute a right outward elbow strike to your opponent's face.
5. Step your left foot back to your right and step your right foot to 12:00 and pivot into a left neutral bow facing 6:00. As you pivot, check your opponent's right arm with your right hand and execute a left outward elbow to your opponent's face.
6. Circle your left arm counterclockwise around your opponent's neck as you apply a headlock. Step your left foot back to 12:00 into a right neutral bow. As you pull your opponent towards you, execute a right punch to your left jaw.
7. With your opponent bent over, execute a left knee strike immediately followed by a right knee strike to your opponent's face.
8. With your right knee cocked, release your left arm and pivot counterclockwise so as to execute a right side kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee as you simultaneously execute a right heel palm strike to the left side of your opponent's jaw.
9. From the right kick, land in a right front crossover and cross out to 12:00.
 

6. Entangled Wing (Front- Front Arm Lock)

1. An opponent at 12:00 locks your right arm. Note: Often taught against a figure-4 arm lock.
2. Step your right foot to 10:30 into an inverted right neutral bow as you raise your right arm up and overhead to relieve pressure. Your left hand will pin and check your opponent's left hand. (If you happen to clip them with an upward elbow here, excellent.)
3. Pivot counterclockwise into a left neutral bow facing 4:30 as you execute a left back elbow strike to your opponent's ribs. Simultaneous with this motion, pull with your right arm, breaking your opponent's left arm across your right shoulder.
4. Pivot back into a horse stance as you execute a right back elbow strike to your opponent's mid-section.
5. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a right reverse bow to buckle out your opponent's left leg as you simultaneously execute a right vertical back knuckle to your opponent's face.
6. Hook around behind your opponent's neck with your right hand and pull your opponent's head down as youexecute a right knee strike up to your opponent's face.
7. Plant your right foot gauging distance as you execute a left knee strike to your opponent's face.
8. Plant your left foot and shoot your right foot back to 1:30 into the right reverse bow to buckle out your opponent's left leg further. Your right arm will be simultaneously forcing your opponent's head to the ground.
9. While maintaining control of your opponent's left arm, execute a right knee strike to the back of your opponent's left elbow.
10. Step into a right front crossover and cross out to 4:30.
 

7. Defying the Storm (Front- Right Step-Through Roundhouse Club)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right roundhouse club swing.
2. Step your right foot to 12:00 into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a left extended outward hand sword to your opponent's wrist simultaneous with a right inward hand sword to your opponent's bicep. Note: This should cause an opponent to drop the club. Also, make sure your right knee buckles the inside of your opponent's right knee.
3. Grab your opponent's wrist with your left hand and your opponent's right elbow with your right arm.
4. Step your right foot back to 6:00 into a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you utilize torque and opposing forces. (You will push the right wrist out and the pull on the left elbow to cause them to bend forward at the waist, possibly break their elbow joint.)
5. Execute a right knee strike to your opponent's chest.
6. As you land forward with your right foot to 12:00 into a right neutral bow, execute a right inward overhead elbow onto your opponent's upper spine.
7. Let go of your opponent's right wrist as you pivot clockwise into a right front rotating twist stance and execute a left inward elbow strike to your opponent's jaw.
8. Pivot counterclockwise into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a left outward elbow to your opponent' jaw. Follow this with a right inward claw to your opponent's face. Continue this rotation and execute a right rear scoop kick to the underside of your opponent's groin.
9. Plant your right foot to 6:00 and instantly pivot counterclockwise to execute a left spinning rear kick to your opponent's solar plexus.
10. Execute a right inward crescent kick to your opponent's face. Note: A hop may be required to help gauge the distance.
11. Land in a right front crossover and cross out to 6:00.
 

8. Raking Mace (Front- Two-Hand Lapel Grab; Pulling In)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs your lapels with both hands and pulls in.
2. As your opponent pulls you in, step your right foot to 12:00 into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you pin both of your opponent's hands to your chest and simultaneously execute a right uppercut to your opponent's solar plexus.
3. Circle your right hand counterclockwise while your left hand is still pinning as you execute a right diagonally inward fist rake down and across your opponent's nose.
4. Continue the motion so you strike onto your opponent's forearms.
5. Instantly reverse the motion with a right outward handsword to your opponent's throat.
6. Cut the circle in half as you execute a right inward elbow strike simultaneous with a left heel palm strike to your opponent's jaw.
7. Convert your left hand into a left inward two-finger hook. Execute a right inward claw to your opponent's face as you step back into a right cat stance.
8. Execute a right front kick to your opponent's groin as your right hand circles counterclockwise.
9. Land forward into a right neutral bow as you execute a right lifting stiff-arm back knuckle to the underside of your opponent's chin.
10. Loop your right hand clockwise and execute a right thrusting hand swords to the left side of your opponent's neck.
11. Execute a left round kick to your opponent's head.
12. Land in a left front crossover and cross out to 4:30.
 

9. Snaking Talon (Front- Two-Hand Push)

1. An opponent at 12:00 pushes you with both hands.
2. Step your left foot to 6:00 into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a right inward hand sword to the outside and top of your opponent's left arm and will loop into a right extended outward hand sword on the outside of your opponent's right arm. (Your left hand will check at your solar plexus.) Note: This is a figure 8 motion that should emphasize the path of the motion rather than a line of action. By emphasizing the path, you will diagonally check your opponent's height and width zones by crossing them up.
3. Continue the motion with your right hand and grab your opponent's right wrist, as you fade into a right cat stance.
4. Settle into the cat stance as you pull your opponent's arm down and to your right. Simultaneous with this, execute a right front kick to your opponent's groin.
5. Plant your right foot back to 7:30 into a left rear twist stance.
6. Release your opponent's right wrist and pivot counterclockwise as you execute a left spinning rear kick to your opponent's mid-section. Note: Your left hand should precede the kick and clear out your opponent's arms.
7. Gauge the distance with your left and execute a right rear kick to your opponent.
8. Step your right foot behind your left to 1:30 into a right rear crossover as you immediately, yet cautiously, plant your right knee and hands on the ground as you execute a left round kick to your opponent's groin.
9. Continue to circle clockwise and plant your left knee to 3:00 as you execute a right rear kick to your opponent.
10. Plant in a right front crossover with your left knee still on the ground. Leap to a left one-legged stance towards 6:00. Step back into a left neutral bow facing 12:00. Left front crossover and cross out towards 4:30.
 

10. Shield and Mace (Front- Right Step-Through Punch)

1. An opponent at 12:00 comes at you with a right step-through punch.
2. Step your left foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 1:30 as you cock your left hand at your left hip and your right hand across your body so it is on top your left fist. Note: There is a parry version of this. With the step, execute a left inward parry to the outside of your opponent's right arm. Follow this with a right outward parry as you finish the step. Your left hand will be cocked at your left hip.
3. Pivot into a horse stance facing 1:30 as you execute a right vertical outward block against your opponent's right arm simultaneous with a left punch to your opponent's right ribs. Note: In the parry version, the right hand is there, so pivot and strike with the left.
4. Shift into a left forward bow as you execute a right downward outward hammer fist to your opponent's right kidney.
5. Circle your left hand clockwise and pin your opponent’s right arm against their own body as you execute a right counter-clockwise circle, striking your opponent's face with a right inward looping claw.
6. Drop into a left close kneel as you execute a right outward hand sword to the back of your opponent's right knee.
7. Execute a right knife-edge kick to your opponent's left knee.
8. Plant your right foot to 1:30 as your right hand continues its counterclockwise circle and executes a right claw to your opponent's face.
9. With your opponent falling back to 10:30, grab his face with your right hand and push him to the ground as you execute a left knee strike to the back of your opponent's neck. (Your left hand will continue to check your opponent's right arm.)
10. Plant your left directly beneath its point of contact and step your right foot clockwise to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 4:30 as you have your left hand push your opponent's head forward while your right hand pulls to snap your opponent's neck. Note: This maneuver is also designed to turn your opponent's body clockwise so he is bent over face down.
11. Execute a right knee kick up and under your opponent's chin.
12. As your right foot lands, execute a left knee kick to any opening available on your opponent.
13. From point of contact, execute a left knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's left leg.
14. Land back into a left front crossover and cross out to 10:30.
 

11. Retreating Pendulum (Front- Right Rear Kick)

1. An opponent at 12:00 comes at you with a right rear kick. Note: This kick may be delivered with a right step-through or a rear crossover.
2. From a right neutral bow facing 12:00, step your right foot back to 6:00 into a rear crossover as you execute a right downward block to your opponent's right leg. [Your left hand should check next to your right shoulder.
3. Execute a right knife-edge kick to your opponent's left inner knee.
4. Land in a right neutral bow towards 12:00 into a right neutral bow as you utilize gravitational marriage and execute a right inward overhead hammer fist to the right side of your opponent's neck.
5. Pivot into a right reverse bow as you execute a right rear scoop kick to your opponent's groin.
6. Plant back in that right reverse bow between your opponent's legs as you use the right reverse bow to buckle the inside of your opponent's right leg. Note: This should drive them face down to the ground.
7. Gauge by dragging your left foot to your right. Execute a right rear scoop kick to your opponent's groin.
8. Plant your right foot to the right of your opponent's body and drop into a left close kneel stance, dropping your right knee into your opponent's right kidney.
9. Step your left foot across your opponent, planting on the left side of your opponent's body into a twist stance. As you settle in your twist stance, execute a right knee strike to your opponent's lower spine.
10. Switch. Step your right foot to the left side of your opponent's body below the shoulder and step your left foot to the right side of your opponent's body near the ribs. Drop into a right close kneel stance striking your opponent's upper spine.
11. Spring up on to your left leg as you execute a right knife-edge kick to the back of your opponent's neck.
12.. Land in the right front crossover and cross put to 4:30.
 

12. Tripping Arrow (Front- Bear Hug; Arms Free)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs you in a bear hug, but leaves your arms free.
2. Step your left leg to 9:00 into a horse stance as you grab your opponent's right shoulder with your left hand, to cancel out their height zones, and execute a right heel palm strike to your opponent's left ear.
3. Step your right leg around and behind your opponent's right leg towards 3:00 into a horse stance.
4. Utilize torque and pivot to your left into a left forward bow facing 9:00 as you execute a right heel palm strike to your opponent's jaw. Note: Maintain your left hand hold of your opponent's right arm as he falls.
5. Execute a right thrusting heel kick to your opponent's chin. Note: Due to a variety of factors, if your opponent turns or slips out of your grasp, execute a right stomp to their ribs or kidney.
6. With your left hand sill maintaining a hold on your opponent's right wrist, plant your right foot to the left of your opponent's head. Drop into a right close kneel to 10:30 so your left knee strike to your opponent's sternum.
7. Pivot counterclockwise into a left close kneel stance and drop your right knee into your opponent's solar plexus as you simultaneously execute a right two-finger poke to your opponent's eyes.
8. Let go of your opponent's right wrist as you spring up and rotate your body clockwise. Plant your right foot to the left of your opponent's left hip as your left foot plants near the same spot (you are now facing 1:30). Drop into a right close kneel as you strike your opponent's abdomen with your left knee.
9. Spring up again, rotating counterclockwise as you plant your left foot to where your right just was and set your right foot between your opponent's legs. Drop into a left close kneel stance and bury your right knee into your opponent's groin.
10. Spring into a right one-legged stance to 1:00 and step back into a left front crossover and cross out.
 

13. Fallen Cross (Rear- Two-Hand Choke)

1. An opponent at 6:00 chokes you with both their hands.
2. Step your left foot to 9:00 into a horse stance facing 12:00 as you directly grab both of your opponent's wrists with your hands. (Right to right, left to left.)
3. Step your right foot 10:30 into a transitional right neutral bow as you turn your head counterclockwise. Pivot into a left neutral bow facing 4:30 as you cross your opponent's arms at or above the elbows. As you do this, jerk down to cancel their height zones.
4. Execute a right knee kick up to your opponent's elbows. Extend your right leg into a right front kick to your opponent's groin.
5. Land forward into a right neutral bow facing 4:30 as you execute a right inward elbow to your opponent's left jaw hinge.
6. Pivot your body clockwise as you execute a right outward claw to your opponent's face followed by a left knee to your opponent's groin.
7. Have your left foot step through to 4:30 into a left neutral bow as you execute a left heel palm strike to the underside of your opponent's jaw.
8. Gauging your distance, execute a right step-through front kick to the inside of your opponent's thigh to buckle out your opponent's leg.
9. Plant your right foot, again gauging, as you execute a left round kick to your opponent's head.
10. Step into a left front crossover and cross out to 10:30.
 

14. Returning Storm (Front- Right Step-Through Round Club; Backhand Club)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right step-through round club swing.
2. Shuffle back with your left foot to 7:30 into a right neutral bow as you place both hands at chest level.(This should get you into a Zone of Sanctuary and cause the swing to go past you. They counter by reversing their swing into a backhand club strike.
3. Step your left foot forward to 1:30 into a left neutral bow as you a left forearm strike to your opponent's right elbow and a right forearm strike to your opponent's right wrist.
4. Instantly grab your opponent's arm and push out with your left while pulling with your right as you step your right foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 4:30. Note: you are using a rolling action on your opponent's arm, so that when combined with the rotational force of the technique, they will spiral down.
5. Execute a right front kick to your opponent' right ribs. (Your right hand will go back to cock for the final strike.)
6. As you land forward into a right neutral bow facing 4:30 execute a right rising back knuckle to your opponent's face.
7. Slide your right foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow as your right hand grabs your opponent's right wrist and your left hand grabs your opponent's right elbow. Pivot into a right forward bow facing 9:00 as you force your opponent to the ground, face down.
8. Let go with your left hand as you gauge your right leg and execute a left stomp to the back of your opponent's neck or head.
9. Plant your left foot to the right side of your opponent's head and swing your right foot over your opponent's body to 9:00 as you face 3:00. Simultaneous with this move, have both of your arms apply a right hammerlock to your opponent's arm.
10. Immediately push drag back to 9:00 and pull on your opponent's right arm to dislocate it.
11. Execute a left downward looping round kick to the back of your opponent's head.
12. Land back in a right front crossover and cross out to 10:30.
 

15. Crossed Twigs (Rear- Two-Hand Direct Wrist Grab)

1. An opponent at 6:00 directly grabs your wrists with their hands; left hand to your left wrist, right to right.
2. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a front crossover as you grab your opponent's wrists.
3. Turn into a right neutral bow facing 7:30 as you execute a right outward elbow to your opponent's face. (Note: Do not release their arm yet as this will close their centerline and cancel their height zones.)
4. Let go of your opponent's right arm as you continue your motion and change orbit to execute a right inward overhead elbow to your opponent's spine.
5. Execute a left knee strike to your opponent's stomach as you release your left hand and execute dual palm heel strikes to your opponent's kidneys.
6. Plant your left foot as you execute a right knee strike to your opponent's right ribs.
7. From the point of contact of your right knee, execute a right knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's left knee.
8. Plant your foot briefly and bounce it off the ground as you pivot counterclockwise and execute a right rear hook kick to the left side of your opponent's jaw.
9. Plant your right foot to 3:00 gauging the distance. Slide your left foot to the inside of your opponent's right leg and shoot back into a left reverse bow facing 4:30 to buckle out the inside of your opponent's right knee. Simultaneously have your left hand strike and squeeze your opponent's groin.
10. Slide your left foot to 10:30 as your left knee drives through your opponent's right knee to buckle. As you do so, simultaneously have your left hand hook and check your opponent's right (palm up with your elbow anchored.)
11. Execute a right knee strike up to your opponent's face as you simultaneously execute a right downward heel palm strike to the back of your opponent's head to create a sandwich.
12. Plant your right foot back to 4:30 and step into a left front crossover to 1:30 as you execute a left outward downward claw to your opponent's face. Continue to cross out to 1:30.
 

16. Twist of Fate (Front- Two-Hand Push)

1. An opponent at 12:00 pushes you with both hands.
2. Step your right foot back to 6:00 into a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute right and left extended outward hand swords to the inside of your opponent's wrists.
3. Without hesitation, grab your opponent's right wrist with your left hand as your right hand grabs your opponent's left wrist.
4. Execute a right step-through slicing heel kick to your opponent's right lower ribcage.
5. Prior to planting your right foot, pivot your entire body counterclockwise (180 degrees) on the ball of your left foot. During this motion, twist your opponent's arms and cross them counterclockwise.
6. Plant your right foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 6:00.
7. Without hesitation, force your opponent's arms to loop your opponent's arms forward, down, and back to you and you push drag back to 10:30. Note: This action should flip your opponent's body so they are almost horizontal to the ground, face up.
8. Pull your opponent's wrists to you as you execute a right knee kick to your opponent's upper spine or head. Land towards 6:00 into a right forward bow so that your opponent's back is resting against your knee as you simultaneously execute dual inward heel palm strikes to your opponent's ears.
9. Pivot into a right neutral bow as you convert your heel palm strikes into double downward claws to your opponent's face (Your right knee continues to brace against your opponent's back.)
10. Switch (back to front) into a left neutral bow as you cross your hands right over left in front of your opponent's face. Execute two ripping claws with your right hand clawing to the left side of your opponent's face and your left hand to the right side of your opponent's face.
11. Execute a back to front switch back into a right neutral bow as you loop your hands out and then in, executing double inward hand swords to the left and right side of your opponent's neck.
12 . Execute two two-finger eye hooks to both of your opponent's eyes respectively. As your fingers hook towards you, execute a back to front switch back into a left neutral bow as you execute double hand swords (fingers up while palms in) to your opponent's trapezius muscles to the sides of your opponent's neck.
13. Execute a right knife-edge kick to your opponent's back to knock him forward. From there stomp down on to your opponent's left ankle into a right front crossover. Cross out.
 

17. Flashing Mace (Front- Right Step-Through Punch)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right step-through punch.
2. Step to 11:00 with your left foot into a left neutral bow as you execute a left inward block to the outside of your opponent's right arm and simultaneously cock your right hand above your right shoulder. Note: This cocking motion is meant to clip the inside of your opponent's right wrist and hyper-extend or even break their right arm.
3. Step your right foot to 10:30 into a transitional right neutral bow as you execute a right inward diagonal raking hammer fist to your opponent's face. (Your left hand will maintain a positional check at your opponent's right arm.)
4. Immediately pivot counterclockwise (180 degrees) as you execute a left outward back fist to your opponent's right lower ribs. Simultaneously have your right hand execute a bracing angle check to your opponent's upper right arm.
5. Execute a left upward hooking check (waiter hand) on top of your opponent's right arm. Sink into a left wide kneel as you cock your right hand back.
6. Using reverse gravitational marriage as you explode up with a rising back knuckle to your opponent's face.
7. Pivot clockwise into a right reverse bow to 4:30 as you buckle to the back of your opponent's right knee as you simultaneously execute a right hammer fist down onto your opponent's left jaw. (Your left hand is still checking your opponent's right arm.)
8. As your opponent falls back to 12:00, slide you right foot to 11:30. Continue to ride your right hammer fist's power down as you sick into a right wide kneel stance while striking to the back of your opponent's neck.
9. Slide your left foot to 4:30 as your left hand circles clockwise to check your opponent's right shoulder while you simultaneously circle your right hand counterclockwise and execute a right inward diagonal downward hammer fist to your opponent's mid-section. (Let your opponent fall to the ground, head to 10:00.)
10. Drag your left foot to 10:30 as your execute a right shovel kick with the ball of your foot hitting your opponent's chin and the heel of the foot striking your opponent's nose.
11. Land in a right front crossover. Pivot and execute a left spinning rear kick to your opponent's head.
12. Settle into a left front crossover and cross out to 7:30.
 

18. Gift of Destiny (Front- Handshake)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs your right hand with their right hand.
2. Step your right foot to 12:00 into a right neutral bow as you simultaneously have your left hand grab your opponent's right wrist. As you grab, execute a right inward elbow to your opponent's solar plexus.
3. Circle your right hand counterclockwise, contouring along your opponent's fingers with the palm of your hand. [Your fingers are up, thumb down.] Grab your opponent's fingers. Note: There is a right upward flapping elbow that is an accident. It happens due to the grab done in this step.
4. Step your right foot to 6:00 into a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you turn your right hand clockwise, twisting your opponent's wrist palm up. At the same time, turn your left hand counterclockwise using your opponent's wrist as a pivot point. At the completion of your right hand twist, reach further around your opponent' wrist with your left hand to twist your opponent's wrist further. As you settle into this, release your right hand and return it to chamber. End result, your opponent will be bent over, their palm up, fingers high, the stress locking their arm out.
5. Execute a right heel palm strike to 1:30 to the back of your opponent's right wrist to break their wrist.
6. Execute a right front kick to your opponent's solar plexus.
7. Shift your opponent's arm to the left side of your body as you plant forward into a right neutral bow to 1:30 and take advantage of gravitational marriage with a right diagonal back fist to your opponent's right jaw. Immediately shift into a right forward bow as you execute a left vertical punch to your opponent's face before instantly checking at your opponent's right shoulder.
8. Pivot back into a right neutral bow as you execute a right lifting diagonal stiff-arm back knuckle through your opponent's face.
9. Step your left foot behind your right into a left rear crossover as you execute a right outward elbow through your opponent's face.
10. Pivot counterclockwise as you execute a right inward elbow to your opponent's face. Continue to pivot into a left neutral bow as you execute a left outward elbow to your opponent's face.
11. Slide your left foot to 9:00 into a left reverse bow in order to buckle out your opponent's right knee while simultaneously executing a left back hammer fist to your opponent's groin.
12. Pivot counterclockwise into a left forward bow as you execute a right heel palm strike to your opponent's jaw followed by a right knee strike to your opponent's groin.
13. Land back in a right front crossover and cross out to 4:30.
 

19. Wings of Silk (Rear- Two Arm Lock)

1. An opponent at 6:00 locks your arms from behind.
2. With your feet together, bring your left foot up into your opponent's groin as you push down with your left hand.
3. Turn and step counterclockwise (to 9:00) with your right foot in a short step as your left arm grabs your opponent's left arm.
4. Complete the motion by circling counterclockwise still with your left foot, stepping your left to 9:00. As you land in a horse stance facing 12:00, execute a right vertical punch to your opponent's elbow.
5. Maintain control of your opponent's left wrist with your left hand as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's ribs.
6. Execute a right round kick to the back of your opponent's left knee as you simultaneously execute a right palm strike to the back of your opponent's left elbow.
7. Have your right hand assist your left in grabbing your opponent's left wrist. (Done by having your left hand on the underside of the hand- the hand sword portion; and the right hand grabbing the top near the thumb.) Rotate your body clockwise as you twist your opponent's wrist clockwise and to his face. Simultaneous with the rotation, execute a left knee strike to your opponent's groin.
8. Plant your left foot to 9:30 while facing 3:00 as you maintain the left grab; have your right arm simultaneously slip under, through and over your opponent's left arm to wrap around it. Release your left hand as you pivot into a left neutral bow facing 9:30.
9. Immediately slide your left foot back to your right as your right arm forces your opponent's left arm into an arm lock. Slide your right foot to 4:30 into a right reverse bow to buckle out your opponent's left knee.
10. With this arm lock in place, force your opponent to the ground as you execute a left heel palm strike to your opponent's face.
11. Execute a right knee strike to your opponent's chest. From the point of contact, execute a right knife-edge kick to your opponent's right knee.
12. Briefly plant your right foot before executing a right rear scoop kick to your opponent's groin.
13. Land in a right front crossover and cross out to 8:30.
 

20. Gripping Talon (Front- Left Hand Direct Wrist Grab)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs your right wrist with their left hand.
2. Step your right foot to 12:00 into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you circle your right hand counterclockwise, under and to the outside of your opponent's left wrist as you circle your left hand counterclockwise and grab your opponent's left wrist. This frees your right hand to execute a right back hammer fist to your opponent's groin.
3. Execute a right inward elbow to your opponent's left ribs.
4. Follow through and reverse the action, executing a right outward elbow to your opponent's right ribs.
5. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a left rear crossover as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's left ribs. (Meanwhile, maintain control of your opponent's left hand.)
6. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a right reverse bow to buckle to the inside of your opponent's left leg as you execute a right looping wrist strike to the right side of your opponent's neck. (Coordinate this move by yanking on your opponent's left arm.)
7. As your opponent falls, execute a right knee strike to your opponent's face.
8. Have your right foot travel around behind your left foot to 4:00 into a right rear twist stance as you simultaneously grab your opponent's chin with your right hand. As you pivot clockwise into a left neutral bow facing 10:00, use your right elbow as a fulcrum and rotate your opponent clockwise and down to force your opponent's back onto your left knee.
9. Drop back with your left foot to 4:30 into a right neutral bow as you force your opponent's back against your right knee. Grab your opponent's right shoulder with your right hand as you simultaneously execute a right forward bow and drop a left inward downward hammer fist to your opponent's left ribs.
10. Pivot back into a right neutral bow as you check your opponent's back with your left hand and execute a right inward downward hammer fist to your opponent's sternum.
11. Pivot counterclockwise into a left forward bow facing 4:30 as you force your opponent to 6:00 onto his back. As your opponent falls to the ground, execute a right stiff-arm back knuckle to your opponent's chin followed by a right sweeping scoop kick (as in a crossover that scoops up) to the underside of your opponent's chin.
12. With your right foot cocked high, execute a right downward diagonal knife-edge kick to your opponent's nose, chin, and chest.
13. Land in a right front crossover and cross out to 6:00.
 

21. Gathering Clouds (Front- Right Reverse Punch)

1. An opponent at 12:00 in a left fighting stance throws a right reverse punch.
2. Step your left foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you simultaneously execute a left inward parry to the outside of your opponent's right arm and a right inward vertical middle knuckle rake to your opponent's right ribs.
3. Immediately execute a right outward hand sword to your opponent's lower right ribs.
4. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a right neutral bow to buckle your opponent's right knee with your right knee as you execute a right inward elbow to your opponent's right ribs. (Your left hand is now bracing against your opponent's right elbow.)
5. Execute a right front scoop kick to your opponent's groin as you execute a right two-finger eye hook to your opponent's left eye.
6. Plant your right scoop kick back to 7:30 into a left neutral bow facing 1:30.
7. Execute a left front kick to your opponent's groin. Plant your left foot, gauging, as you execute a right front kick to your opponent's chin. (This should cause your opponent to fall back to 1:30.)
8. Land forward towards your opponent, gauging the distance, as you execute a left knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee.
9. Set your left foot near your right and execute a right knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's left knee.
10. Plant your right foot forward to 1:30 into a right neutral bow as your left hand checks low and your right hand cocked at your left shoulder. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a left front crossover as you execute a right back fist through your opponent's temple.
11. Pivot clockwise into a left neutral bow as you execute a left inward downward hammer fist to the back of your opponent's neck. (Your right hand cocks at your right hip.)
12. Rotate counterclockwise into a left front twist stance as you execute a right lifting back knuckle to the underside of your opponent's chin. Follow this with a right round kick to the side of your opponent's head.
13. From the kick, land in a right front crossover and hop into a left one-legged stance.
14. Survey. Step into a right front crossover and cross out to 7:30.
 

22. Destructive Twins (Front- Two-Hand Lapel Grab; Pulling In)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs your lapels with both hands and pulls in.
2. Step, with your right foot, forward into a right neutral bow as you execute a 'U' punch towards 12:00. [Your left hand should be striking at your opponent's face and your right hand striking at the groin.]
3. Shift your right foot towards 1:00 as you snake your left arm down between your opponent's arm (striking the left down and sliding under the right. Simultaneously strike up against your opponent's left elbow. Snake your left hand under your opponent's left arm. Execute a left outward block and chamber your right hand as you pivot into a right forward bow. Note: This outward block is designed to clear out your opponent's arms and cross them up.
4. Execute a left hand spear towards your opponent's eyes.
5. Utilize torque and pivot into a horse stance facing 10:30 as you execute a right reverse punch to your opponent's ribs.
6. Step to 3:00 with your left foot into crossover. Unwind into a horse stance facing 6:00 as you pull your opponent through and execute a right upper-cut punch to their elbow.
7. Slide your right foot between your opponent's legs and pivot counterclockwise to 6:30 as you execute a rear hook kick to your opponent's groin. From the point of contact of your right kick, plant your right foot to 1:30 into a left neutral bow facing 7:30 as you execute a right uppercut forearm strike under your opponent's left elbow.
8. Grab your opponent's head from the right side of your opponent's neck with your right hand. Have your left hand simultaneously grab the back of your opponent's head from the left side. Drag your left foot to your right and shoot your right foot back to 1:30 into a right reverse bow to buckle out your opponent's left leg as you simultaneously jerk your opponent's head down to flip and throw him to the ground on his back.
9. Your opponent is now on his back with his head between your feet. Pivot to 9:00 and drop into a right close kneel stance as your left knee strikes down on your opponent's left collarbone or neck.
10. Bounce up and have your left foot step to 9:00 over your opponent's head into a left twist stance. Pivot counterclockwise three fourths of a circle and execute a right looping downward round kick to your opponent's groin.
11. Slide your right foot to 7:30 between your opponent's legs and drop your right knee into your opponent's solar plexus as you simultaneously execute a right half fist to your opponent's throat. (Your left hand is checking.)
12. Bounce up from your knee drop and execute a right front kick to your opponent's face followed by a right stomp to your opponent's face. Plant your right foot to the top of your opponent's head and hop on your right foot to 1:30. Execute a left rear kick to your opponent's head.
13. Land back in a left front crossover and cross out to 1:30.
 

23. Broken Ram (Front- Tackle; Arms Wide)

1. An opponent at 12:00 comes at you to tackle with their arms spread wide.
2. From a right neutral bow facing 12:00, step your left foot to 3:00 as you execute a right downward parry to your opponent's left arm simultaneous with a left downward parry to your opponent's right arm. Continue the motion of your right arm and as you settle into a right neutral bow facing 9:00, execute a right inward overhead hammer fist to the back of your opponent's neck. (Left hand should be checking against your opponent's right.)
3. With your opponent's left arm trying to grab your waist, pivot into a right reverse bow as you loop your right arm under your opponent's left arm and execute a left uppercut to 4:30. (With your body as the fulcrum, this should cause a break.)
4. Execute a right rear scoop kick to your opponent's groin.
5. As you plant your foot back to 10:30, aim to buckle out your opponent's left knee. As you do this, loop your hand counterclockwise and over your opponent's left arm to execute a right outward downward hammer fist to your opponent's left jaw. Note: Synchronize these action with gravitational marriage as you settle into your right reverse bow.
6. Execute a right outward upward claw to the left side of your opponent's face followed by a left inward upwardclaw to the front of your opponent's face.
7. Execute a left knee kick to your opponent's groin or ribs followed by a right knee kick to the same targets (this is an example of a knee chicken kick).
8. From the point of contact of your right knee strike, pivot counterclockwise as you execute a right knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee.
9. Plant your right foot to 6:00 into a left rear twist stance (stance named such due to how you are referring to your opponent). Pivot counterclockwise and execute left spinning scoop kick to the underside of your opponent's chin.
10. From your contact position, execute a left rear kick to any opening.
11. Step into a left front crossover and cross out to 6:00.
 

24. Circling the Horizon (Front- Right Step-Through Punch)

1. An opponent at 12:00 comes at you with a right step-through punch.
2. Step your left foot to 9:00 as you execute a left inward parry to the outside of your opponent's right arm. During this action, have your right foot slide to your left into a right cat stance as your right hand circles clockwise covering past your groin, tracking under your left wrist. As you settle into the cat stance, execute a right vertical back knuckle to your opponent's right cheekbone.
3. Step your right foot to 1:30 into a right neutral bow facing 1:30 as you execute a right inward elbow to your opponent's right lower ribs. (Your left hand will execute a bracing angle check to your opponent's right arm.)
4. Sink into a right close kneel as you execute a right chopping hammer fist to the back of your opponent's right leg.
5. Follow through with your hand and immediately execute a right reverse hammer fist up to your opponent's groin. (Your left hand is still checking your opponent's arm.)
6. Thrust your right foot to 4:30 to sweep out your opponent's right leg to 4:30. Simultaneously execute a right heel palm strike to 10:30 to your opponent's solar plexus. Note: Utilize opposing forces here. You should end up in to a left forward bow on your left knee.)
7. With your opponent on the ground on his back, execute a right front kick through your opponent's right ribs followed by a right stomp down on top of your opponent's ribs.
8. Pull your foot off and set it to the right of your opponent's right hip. Pull your left knee towards your right and stand. Pivot clockwise and execute a left looping downward round kick to your opponent's groin.
9. Continue to pivot clockwise as you plant your left foot near your right and execute a right spinning rear stomp to your opponent's ribs or face, whichever is open. (You will drop your body's weight into this strike.)
10. Step away in a right front crossover and cross out to 4:30.
